Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026. Controller: Rolf Kassel, trading as Namedra, Waterford, Ireland. Contact: hello@namedra.com.
What we collect
Free audit form: your name, work email and company domain, plus the time of submission. Outreach: for people we contact proactively, we hold business contact details (name, role, company, work email, LinkedIn profile URL) obtained from public sources or data providers, together with publicly available information about the company's website.
Why and on what legal basis
Audit requests: to deliver the audit you asked for (contract / pre-contractual steps, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Business-to-business outreach by email: our legitimate interest in marketing our services to people in roles relevant to them (Art. 6(1)(f)), balanced against your interests; we contact work addresses only, limit frequency, and honour every opt-out immediately. In Germany and Austria, where § 7 UWG requires prior consent for commercial email, we do not send unsolicited email and contact companies only through channels that permit it or after consent. LinkedIn contact is manual and governed by LinkedIn's terms.
What we do with audit data
We query third-party AI services (OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Anthropic) with prompts about your company's category. We do not send your name or email to those services. Raw responses are stored to make the report verifiable.
Processors and transfers
Hosting and the form endpoint: Vercel or Netlify (USA; transfers covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). Email delivery: Resend (EU region, Ireland). Audit prompts are sent to OpenAI, Perplexity, Google and Anthropic (USA; DPF or SCCs); they receive the category and competitor names, never your personal data. Fonts are served from our own domain; no Google Fonts, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Audit requests: 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them. Outreach records: until you object or 12 months after last contact, whichever is sooner. Opt-out records are kept so we do not contact you again.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (including to direct marketing at any time). Email hello@namedra.com or reply to any message with "unsubscribe". You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or any EU supervisory authority.
